[C320-list] Inspection Port

Has anyone installed an inspection port for checking the oil level on their engine? Something that would eliminate the need to pull the aft engine cover (housing) before each use. I was thinking of a 6" deckplate on the side of the cover, as close to the oil stick as possible. Your ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
