Thanks for the advice.  Question, I'm not familiar with "Davis" is that a store, or a web site or what?

I went through the same thing. When I had the mast down last year I
straightened the antenna and got a offset kit for the windex. Davis sells
them. Also the SWR was the same dog-legged or straight.
