Yesterday I found none of my vintage 1994 Raymarine instruments worked.
Weather was too nice so we went sailing instead and the rum afterwards
obviated late night troubshooting. I brought home the little Raymarine
manuals but there'e not much in the fault finding section except for
'ensure seatalk connections are secure'. Besides making sure there is
power to the instruments I am at a loss loss on how to begin
troubleshooting. The only clue I have is that the updated autohelm
ST5000 control head, which is on another breaker, was smart enough to
say something like "Seatalk failure 2". Any advice on how to begin
troubleshooting?
