yes, that is exactly what i thought when i read this, muffler, custom job (wish  knew why!) but first i have heard that elow is custom too.

I'm trying to find out if anyone has been able to get a replacement exhaust
elbow without sending the original to Catalina. I know Gerry Douglas has
stated in past Mainsheets that these should be replaced every 5-7 years and
unfortunately they are custom made. I was hoping I could find a source that
would be able to do replacement w/o the original. Any help would be greatly
appreciated...
