[C320-list] sound reducing paint

I wonder if the paint would stick to the foil on the WM soundproofer and if it would be of add any additonal benefit?

I got a quart of it at West Marine for $50 and I was able to do both Engine 
covers.
You can buy a gallon from Defender at $100 if you want more.
