Michael,

I'm not sure if you mean the thermostat or the control module. If you mean 

the control module, I replaced mine recently and there was some discussion 

on this list. The original unit on my 1998 boat was Danfoss model 
#102n3031. 
Defender has the replacement part, #401824. The Danfoss part was on 
backorder everywhere so I got a controller from Great Water, part number 
FB-E-E254412.

If you mean the thermostat, just short the wires and see if the compressor 

runs.
