[C320-list] Lifeline replacement

I use bathroom tile cleaner in a squirt bottle on my lifelines and it seems
to work very well and very quickly. I've realized that a sponge works better
than paper towels to wipe it off. Hadn't thought about using it on fenders,
but I'll try it this weekend.

Gerry Douglas indicated in his factory tour (2004) that they're planning on
going with bare SS lifelines.

I'm actually surprised that the C320 MKII didn't have them.

I really dislike the white lifelines. They look like crap most of the time
because they're so hard to keep from getting gooey and dirty. (at least in
salt water environment).

I'd say go for it!

On the list this year is lifeline replacement. My thought was to use bare
stainless wire (not coated), and QuickAttach (SunCor) swageless fittings.
While maybe a bit pricey, at least the connectors can be reused, while the
wire can be replaced.

Any thoughts or suggestions? If this isn't a great idea, any
recommendations for riggers/services to put together a new set of lifelines?

thanks for your thoughts!
