I think a dose of ValveTec with each fill-up is a good idea...I have done
it since day one...of course, everyone has a different opinion but from
all the research I've done (read some stuff and spoke to a couple of
diesel mechanics), I'll continue to do it with the new boat...

Local service stations, as well as the big truck stops (where I buy my
diesel), have started converting from Low Sulfur Diesel (500 parts per
million)  to
Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (15 ppm).  Does this affect our Yanmars?   Do we
need
an additive to increase the fuel's ability to lubricate the  engine?
