[C320-list] plastic tape under companionway hatch

Jeff,
What an excellent idea.  That will keep it away from hands and lines that
are always grabbing it and peeling it back.  Where did you get replacements?

Hi,

I replaced mine the first year I had the boat.   I recall having to remove
the panel above the companionway to get enough access.  It needs to be done
again now.

But I'm doing it differently this time.  This time, I'm installing the tape
on the hatch cover itself, not on the place it slides.  I suspect it will
stay on better, since the tape will essentially be hidden and the ends will
always be in contact with the area it slides on.
