[C320-list] Ideas for future C320 Regatta a different view

At the Coronado regatta Adam indicated that he might arrange a regatta for
2008 in San Francisco if he had help.  I indicated that I would assist.  So
we should see if that is still on the schedule.

Having said that I think the bigger issue is what is the function of the
regatta.  I have always assumed it was to sail the C-320, learn from friends
how to handle the boat and get ideas about outfitting, have C-320 technical
discussions, etc.

The Board could also set up a charter vacation to BVI or where ever.  Some
at Coronado also indicated that they would prefer Australia.  I think there
are now a large enough number of boats and owners in Sydney to handle a
regatta.

My 10 cents.  

P.S.  Where is the 2007 Regatta?
