They did, the Saturday of the show in 2005, there was a huge party at the Catalina area--Sharon from Catalina was there, not sure if Frank or Gerry attended--but it was a real big bash....

An owner's reception/party is scheduled to begin at 6 PM, Saturday,  
February 18th, at the Catalina display area with light food and drinks 
served. I plan to be there and look forward to seeing other C320 owners

may be attending.
