Great, could I have a few (up to four) discount ones.  My goodness, I
don't know how they are going to do the show in just one half of the
slips.  By the way, have already sailed five times this year, and 44
last year, so yes I think you can say that we use the boat well.  Just
bought a new main as well.

Any word from Dick lately?

Now Adam....   not true...but glad to hear you really enjoy your boat.
We
started at the show several years back and first had cards printed up
and mailed out to all owner and current lookers...and we didn't get the
turn out like we expected.  The next year we were too late on the card
and word of month traveled fast and we had a pretty good turn out.  Each
year we experience something that seems to put a hitch in things till
the last minute...so don't know quite how to advertise.  As far as
Catalina showing.. we usually don't know till that day what day they
will be flying up and who is exactly coming and how available they will
be...  so it's kind of hard to commit.  This year Jack London will not
displace their regular folks out of the lower section (where we usually
are)and the show will be held in the upper section (so far as what we
hear up todate).  and we haven't heard where they are going to put us
yet which will effect how we can set up a get together (some of the
years we had a band).. so our plans to exactly what we are doing is a
little in the air so far, but we would like to plan something on the
last saturday of the show...

as far as tickets... sorry we don't get extra tickets, just the regualar
discount ones.

They sure didn't advertise it.  Actually, maybe they did and
specifically didn't invite me because they knew I would be too busy

They did, the Saturday of the show in 2005, there was a huge party at
the Catalina area--Sharon from Catalina was there, not sure if Frank or
Gerry attended--but it was a real big bash....

Dinah, so if Catalina has a reception at Strictly Sail in Miami, why
don't we have one in Strictly Sail, Oakland?

An owner's reception/party is scheduled to begin at 6 PM, Saturday,
February 18th, at the Catalina display area with light food and drinks
served. I plan to be there and look forward to seeing other C320 owners
who may be attending.
