Rod, thanks for very interesting articles---no mention of the Gori 2-blade folding prop, which I understand is also a good choice---they recommend Gori 16-1/2" diam., 11 pitch for 320 with Yanmar ($887. at PYacht.com).

Anyone have experience or info re Gori prop?

Yes Rod, I would also like a copy of the comparison document.

Hi Mike,

I have a Word document comparing some of the prop manufacturers that you mentioned. There are comparisons of Autoprop, MaxProp, and Martec by C320 owners. It used to be on the C320 web site. I can attach a copy of it to an email if you or anyone else is interested. One piece of information on the Autoprop seems to have changed and that is the original article indicated a 16" diameter was appropriate whereas I just received a recommendation that 15" diameter was recommended.

I've decided to replace my fixed 3 blade prop. Given the projected
expenditure some research is needed. I plan to review available
literature, talk to other sailors and list postings to make an informed
choice. The props I will examine include: Autoprop, MaxProp, Gori, and
Flex-o-fold.

My question: are these four the major candidates or am I missing one?

Also, I'm thinking about documenting my research for the website or an
article for Mainsheet. So if anyone has information they wish to share,
anecdotal or otherwise, and at the risk of starting a really long thread
(but hey it's snowing outside), please reply to this post.

Thanks
