[C320-list] 4D Battery Replacement Advice

I also have the original 4D Batteries on my 2000 boat, but the OEM charger
was replaced by the previous owner. I understand the batteries were left on
the boat over winter (every year) only being fully charged prior to storage.
All that was done was all the wires were disconnected from the battery
terminal posts as I have done this season. And the boat is on its cradle
subject to the severe winters of the Great White North on the north side of
Lake Ontario.

One reason the batteries are still good is probably because the boat is
nearly always plugged into shore-power when docked in the summer (five
months). Frequent severe deep cycling is what I believe wears out a
battery. Normally a lead-acid battery is good for three to five years, so I
guess I'm doing ok - so far!

As from the beginning, the winter resting spot is a few hundred yards from a
large nuclear power plant, so maybe I'm getting some help there, just maybe?
