A past Commodore lives in Victoria, BC.  He would have great advice.  His
name, if I recall correctly, is John Langford.   

A good cruising guide is necessary and beware of the tides and whirlpools.

    This may be off-topic, but I have just established a web site that has
reports of three of my sailing trips in Maine (not in a C320) and a recent
charter in Raiatea/Bora Bora. If you have an interest in seeing these, go to

   The 1999 and 2000 reports were ones I generated shortly after returning
from the trips. The 2005 Maine and French Polynesia reports are ones that I
just finished constructing.
   You may notice that I have a trip planned for British Columbia next July.
I have never sailed in that area. Any advice about doing so will be most
welcome.
