For the engine I disconnect at the intake side of the raw water strainer and
attach a longer hose.  And suck through about 4 gal of antifreeze (non toxic
-50). For the shower & Fridge I pour in a little more than a half gallon of
antifreeze each (enough to get any water out of the hoses and pump) and run
the pump setting the Y valve under the sink for one then the other until
dry.

In Florida (and Texas I am told) we simply turn up the thermostat on the
Freezer so the beer doesn't freeze.

This is my first winter with "Nanjo" and I was wondering if anybody has any
tips/suggestions for winterizing. I'm in VA and it's been fairly mild so
far-so I haven't rushed to finish it.  I have two specific questions--but
any other info would be appreciated. First--where do most folks connnect to
run anitfreeze through the engine, and second-what do you do about the
shower sump (and pump) ? Thanks!
