If you change to Leisure Furl coastal in-boom furling, installed boom with sailtrack on mast should run about $5,000, plus cost of new sail with battens, all designed for in-boom furling.

Been awhile getting my new boat ready with above installed under factory auspices---finally sailed for first few times last week, and again today---it is an incredible system. Had an electric Lewmar deck winch #34 installed myself, and it's truly amazing to see the main go up with no effort. Also use it to unfurl the Genoa.

Has anyone changed their regular mast to a furler? If so how much did it
cost and are you satisfied?
