[C320-list] charging problems: Alternator replacment?

Any automotive starter and alternator shop can repair the stock unit. Before 
you do that check the fuse that is between the engine and the alternator. It 
is behind the engine in line with a rubber cover ( see the factory wiring 
diagram). This fuse is a very expensive but it is a fast acting special one that 
protects the alternator. If it is bad you will have to go to an industrial 
electrical store to order.
