[C320-list] Log Book Question--fast boat

Today I left the marina with a Gemini 105MKII from my marina. Although
he initially passed us, we stayed right behind him for 7 miles, and a
few times caught up. At the same time we took on a Catalina 42 which,
although flying more sail area, was never able to pass us, and we over
took him to the point where we could easily go across his bow.

Ain't no joke! They are that fast!

With 18-20 knots true wind speed on broad reach
(true), 135 and a depowered main, we will consistantly
be trimmed almost close hauled and making a steady 7-8
knots.

And you gotta fall in in love all over again with an
Admiral who then exclaims with a huge grin; "We're
really flying, aren't we!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
