[C320-list] Garhauer Davit Question

Hello,

 

  I'm ordering the Garhauer Davits on Monday, and have a question for those
who installed them.

 

1)   What is the crossbar length you used?

 

2)  What sort of Rail support mechanism did you use?

 

I'd really appreciate any install advice you have, since I'm not going to
have pretty much one shot at ordering it and installing it before my trip in
a couple weeks.

 

I'm considering using a Kato Marine style of rail support that doubles as a
stern ladder hand-rail, but that may have to go on later.
