[C320-list] Orladno hates me

Roger is the one who sold me my boat and sold me on the idea that the 320 was not cored.  I have Roger looking for a 36 MK II for me.

I don't hate you...I flew up and got in at 9:00am, went to Farallone and spent the entire day with Roger Frizzelle at the yard, at WM, etc. We went to dinner at 8pm, got to bed at 10pm and had a 8:30am flight the next day...

cl3 was delivered to the dealer about 10 days ago, she's in fine
shape...I was up in Alameda last week before the mast was stepped and it
was splashed...I placed a 1934 Cuban silver peso on the mast step for
good luck!

Got a chance to see the install of my infra-red video cameras I wanted
up on the mast--1 forward, 1 to the rear--they looked great. I will
network them to the 120E chartplotter and also to the flat screens I'm
putting in the salon and in the forward berth.

I get it the 2nd weekend of August...

cuba libre 2 was sold a week or so ago to JP and Bobbie Mesa, they will
be re-naming this weekend....I just sent in their registration to the
C320IA Assc...it was sad to let her go, I teared up a bit...

I will be bringing cl3 to San Diego, Allan Field and his lovely
co-skipper were nice enough to let me to twist their arms to help me
sail it from Marina del Rey for the Regatta, I had to beg him! :)

I am touched and thanks for your compliment. My term will end this
October 1, 2006, and I am really looking forward to the Reggatta and
will certainly do everything I can for the group between now and then.
But I might as well let you and the rest of the group know now, that
2006 C387 hull #92, as of yet unamed, will be replacing Escape C320 #621
in the next month or so.  We "visit" with her tmrw, and expect to
complete trade-in in about 3 weeks.  How comes CL3?

This is the Commodore's annual plea for members to step forward to
become officers in the upcoming Year.  According to our by-laws we have
the following positions: Commodore Vice Commodore Secretary Treasurer
Cheif Measurer Mainsheet Editor


In the past we have gotten names before our Reggatta, and held the
election at the Reggatta.  As an officer your duties aren't so
significant, and you get a really cool burgee proving your position!
