[C320-list] Leaky Bomar Hatch

Allan's suggestion works for me also. But I also try to keep the windows
clean of dirt since the dirt seems to be rough on both the window and the
gasket and causes leaks if there's too much dirt.

The portlight hatches have been pretty sound since I started doing that.

I clean all of the hatch and port light gaskets monthly with Armor All.
Apparently, the Armor All makes the gaskets swell plus remove all dirt.
Regardless, they have never leaked since I started doing this.

The Bomar hatch over my V berth has developed a leak. My boat is 11 years
old and I think the gasket is tired. It looks like the gasket has shrunk
away from the upper two corners and is allowing water to enter. Has anyone
replaced this gasket and if so is it a big job? The model number of the
hatch is 1094-10 AX. Thanks for any info.
