[C320-list] Perkins transmission Oil

I checked my perkins engine manual for my C320 #88 tranmission oil and it 
lists ATF . I have no reason to doubt the manual  but I seem to remember 
someone on the list using oil and not ATF. Perhaps it was another engine,
