[C320-list] Annie's reply/chartering

Hi Len, today was the first day. It finally stopped raining long enough to
go out. Despite the drought it's been raining for weeks and next week
sounds like it's going to be wet too. Got another charter tomorrow and
another on Monday. I'd been a bit quiet since taking a deposit on #812 as I
didn't want to risk anything happening to it before the sale was completed.
In anycase, being winter, it's a quieter time of year in Sydney.

I love my new Muir anchor winch with it's up and down buttons. It takes
chain and rope in one continuous line. It works likes a dream. Not a hint
of anything going to jam. So much easier than on Topcat 2. The Delta
anchor also seems to work better than the old one.

I'm loving the other new toys. The Raymarine Charter plotter is brilliant.
I had the pesestal cut shorter so I can see over it better. The
coursemaster below autopilot is pretty good - though it has made the wheel
slightly stiffer.

The flat screen digital tv is brilliant but I'm struggling a bit with the
three different remote controls. Altogether, the sailing is the easy bit.
Working out all the gadgets is going to take a bit of time.

Annie,

Looking for your reply. When do you start charters with Topcat3? My boat's
been chartering since May.
