just plain old soap either bar or liquid might help.

Wow, that sounds like the trademark screech a hatch cover on an early eighties C25 makes. On my 320, there's a strip of tape, possibly Teflon, on either side for the hatch to ride on. Perhaps yours is worn out. In the short term, a bit of 'Skin So Soft' lotion (NOT oil!) down each track should do the trick. It worked on my 1983 C25.
