[C320-list] Fresh water head-flush plumbing

Wouldn't all of the lines be cleared in the same manner by using the
head sink faucet?

I guess my concern is that I always look for a simple way to accomplish
the same thing. Mine requires no money, no extra (albeit cheap
equipment like milk containers), etc.

33rd sail of the year last Sunday, nearly 700 miles.

Well, there's old seawater still in your head intake line (from when you
DID use seawater); just using the sink faucet into the head does not get
fresh water into that seawater intake line---that's still the smell
source. However, when you add the simple connection from sink drain to
head intake line, freshwater flushes out that old seawater and keeps
freshwater running through all lines; if you use seawater occasionally
(e.g., run short of freshwater, etc.) the next time you flush with
freshwater all lines are cleared of seawater smell.
