[C320-list] White Rudders

My PO has kept the rudder (only) painted with white bottom paint. Apparently, Tidewater Marine started doing this on the new boats sold 6-8 years ago as a solution to delamination problems with the rudders on the new Hunters and/or Catalinas.

Something about the white paint reducing heat absorption and preventing rudder foam delamination (the science escapes me as heat transfer in the water should be relatively unaffected by color).

Any historical insights from this list of owners?
