Hi Dick and ALL

It is great getting feed back on my Inmast furling concerns.

Thanks for the advice on keeping the tension off the main halyard (too much
friction and it causing the furling operation to use too much effort). Also
the benefits gained in light air by releasing the Outhaul!

Sailing is what it is all about!
======================

I would appreciate feed back on the following related INMAST FURLING issues,
in particular:
1) is there a cleat on your Inmast Mast (and what is it used for)?
2) how have you organized all of your Sheets/Halyards (etc) back to the
cockpit?

======================
The Sheets/Halyards (etc) leading to the cockpit on my new C320 are as
follows:
--------
Starboard has 1 open Cam Cleat and 4 Rope Clutches
Starboard to centre: (1) MainSheet (open Cam Cleat), (2) Trav, (3) Main
Hal, (4) Mast FurlingIN, (5) Mast Furling OUT.
There is no place for Topping Lift.

and on the Port side:

Port has 4 Rope Clutches ONLY (No Open Cam Cleat)
Port side to centre: (9) Trav, (8) GenoaHal, (7) SpinHal, (6) Boomvang.
--------
There is 1 standup Block for the starboard padeye.
--------

Appreciation for all Comparison Responses.

PS. we offer our Apologies for not attending the forthcoming Regatta ...
sounds a perfect C320 venue for the all important C320 fellowship and
sailing issues... (we were in USA and Canada last September and October)
...maybe again in 2007.
