Robert if you are new to the net don't forget the C-320 Regatta in
September.

Must be the power.

Subject: [C320-list] New (to us) 320

Folks:

Finally got our 2002 to her new home at Great Bay Marine near
Portsmouth, NH. Had to run her about 65 miles up the coast from
Hingham, MA, taking about 11 hours. Didn't push her hard, trip average
of 5.5-6.0 knots. I've got a spinnaker with sock that came with my
prior C25. I'm wondering if I could use it on my new 320. The sock
has '28' stenciled on it, which makes me think it was for a 28 foot
boat. Should I try it, or not mess about and simply buy a spin that I
know is the proper size for the 320? How does one know the 'proper'
size anyway?

Also, the 'reverse polarity' light came on while on dockside electric
in Hingham. I know that means the hot and neutral connections have
been reversed. I'd usually suspect the host wiring. I'm on a mooring
in Portsmouth, so won't have much chance to be on dockside to check if
it happens elsewhere. What are the odds that the PO could have loused
something up internally on board?
