[C320-list] Mast Leak?

I would think that all boats have an opening at the base of the mast as 
there are power/signal lines for anchor light, steaming light, decklight, 
wind instrument, VHF, and RADAR. I guess there must be a seal of some sort 
because mour mast does not leak and we have all of the above.
