[C320-list] Garhauer adjustable jib car

FYI Mike,

I have changed the cleats to these instead.

They are the "Lance Cleats" and come in red and green and are opposites.

I got one Port and one Starboard version and they work really well. I
mounted them on a small aluminum plates in order to re-use the holes from
the old cleat, but first time installers wouldn't need to do that.

The problem was that the ronstan cleat didn't hold up very well to pulling a
line through it. The Ronstan was the perfect size and shape, and IF it were
metal, it would have held up just fine. The only captive metal ones I could
find were much larger and I was looking for low-profile.

I also now use line hangers that keep the extra line hung up on the side of
the dodger frame and out of the way.

-Jeff

just installed the Garhauer adjustable jib car system. Awesome! Best
performance enhancer (stay away from this one Orlando) for the money
besides the folding prop. I didn't do the cleat as pictured by this
owner here http://www.catalina320.com/gallery/album39, but am thinking
about it.
