That was certainly my concern, but enough on this list had experience with them to convince me to give it one more try. If you are still interested, contact Madeline at 312-923-8378, that is her office number. Apparently they own a 320?. Here are the answers:

1--Still have to do the template thing--Jeff Hare reports this is a pain.
2--Not machine washable as they contain foam etc, but is just like a pillow top at home where you wouldn't wash any way. Is mildew/mold resistant.

I did end up ordering one and may go the Costco/memory foam route for the VBerth--
