I would not use 4200 as it is a polyurethrane adhesive/sealant just with
less adhesive qualities than 5200.  I just don't think you need adhesive
properties on stanchions.  And 4200 is just easier than 5200 to remove but
it still is very hard to remove.

The factory recommends 3M 4200. DO NOT use 5200. 4200 is much easier to work
with and dries to a pliable state.
