[C320-list] Galley sink

I have a 94  C320 with chrome covered plastic drains ibin the galley sink. 
Eventually the chrome flakes off and they look like crap. I have replaced 
them once and the same thing happened. I was wondering if later model 320's 
still have the plastic drains or are they steel . If not, has anyone 
switched to steel. West marine had only plastic. Any help would be 
appreciated, Darrell
