First off, welcome!! 2nd, what is your hull # and 3rd, you'll need to take the boards off and use a shop vac to suck all of the water out...if you have an early hull version, you will have to drill some holes in the stringers to get that water to channel to main bilges...4th, you stop it from happening again by installing either a pss shaft seal or use the teflon packing some of the other folks have use...
