Robert, I've got a Martec feathering prop installed. When I installed it, I had a hard time getting the locking pins in, but I managed. I also used the "locktite" provided by Martec. I don't think I can get the prop off easily. I think dropping the rudder seems easier right now. I just need to confirm the proces to know. Thanks, Steve s/v Joy 756
