Paul - The rendezvous in Baltimore this year is an all-Catalina
rendezvous,
very different from the C-320 we attended 2 years ago.  Like Rod, I
thoroughly enjoyed the Solomon's all-Catalina rendezvous 3 years ago in
Solomon's but have not heard much good about the Baltimore venue.  As we
are
going to the C-320 rendezvous in San Diego, we will take a pass on
Baltimore.  But we hope to see you and Deb in San Diego!  But please,
leave
the yellow thongs at home...  Orlando has enough already! - Allan

I thought you and the wife were in Baltimore 2 years ago when the Rivaks
hosted the event ?

Event included a speaker from Quantum (Mark Yeager), door prizes, dinner
cruise with local guide, and of course the Club race which was shortened
to
a point-to-point (Baltimore Harbor Marina to Key Bridge).

That year was Debbie's and I first attendance so we don't have a
comparison,
but we enjoyed it very much.  While the weather was not the best - just
check with Allan Field who had a wild ride back to Annapolis on Sunday or
Kit and Marty Carson who experienced 25kts with Deb and I on the Sunday
"kick back and relax" cruise , we did have 9 C320's there lined up in a
row
at the Marina.

We will probably go again this year and will sail down from Georgetown ,
MD.
It is about an eight hour sail given decent wind.

Got out for the first time yesterday - 70 degrees, blue sky, and gusts to
20
kt.  Had a ball !

Our marina just got another C320 and I am going to try and talk the owner
into joining the International and attending as well.

Hope you change your mind.

I incorrectly assumed that it was going to be held in the Solomon's this
year in which case I and a group of others planned on attending as it is
always good when held there, contrary to Baltimore which I always hear
complaints.  Unless I hear that it is going to somehow be different, I
don't

plan on attending.  Thanks.
