[C320-list] Idea for an article for Mainsheet

Wouldn't want a jack knife to cut those fine sheets you included with
the deal.  Besides, at that time the sheets were about 10 feet outside
the boat.  That's what divers are for.  Needed my bottom done anyway.

   Actually a similar situation is something I left out of the sales
pitch on that sail to you. The last time I flew that sail with Christy
across NG Bay with the daily SWesterly building, me not doing the down
wind math correctly, and coming out of the shadow of Jamestown Island at
the same time I HAD to Gybe. It was ugly. Christy would not take the
wheel, I don't think I had Auto then but he couldn't have handled it any
way, and at 110 lbs Christy could do nothing to get that sail down that
had wrapped the mast/forestay.... It was a long Nantucket Sleighride
with nobody singing - just screaming at each other - we  had to the sail
was making so much noise. Got away with it and as you know - no damage.

Do you think anyone would be interested in an article for 
Mainsheet called "Broach" about a little incident last night under 
asymetrical where the wind went from 2 knots to over 20 in 
five seconds, and resulted in not one but two spinnaker sheets 
being rapid around the prop?

In 33 years of sailing first time towed into the dock!
