As far as I know you MUST perform an engine alignment with the boat in
the water. Out of the water the hull stresses are different. Makes sense
to me.

I also replaced 3 blade fixed with Gori and notice a little vibration at
certain RPMs. Newbie question: can one perform such alignment with the
boat in the water? Any advice on how to actually do alignment with
Perkins M30 would be appreciated too. BTW, with the Gori and Mark
Yaeger's rig tuning recommendations I'm at least a full knot faster on
every point of sail and pointing higher too!

Scott,

Take a closer look at the lower portion of the motor mount where it
bolts into the engine bunk. The aft holes on the aft mounts and the
forward holes on the forward mounts are elongated so that the engine can
be angled or shifted laterally.
