God, I hope not! We ran one class only in MdR and it worked great...we made all legs reaching legs and didn't bother with spin vs non-spin..

I have never heard of classes due to keel types and in Crusing races in So Cal you would add +3 and +6 for fixed 2 and 3 bladed on their base PHRF rating....

Will there be multiple classes or handicaps for the race on Saturday?  For example: Fin Keel vs. wing, Spin vs non Spin, Folding vs. Fixed prop?
