[C320-list] Line management

Joseph,

The bulkhead makes a fairly comfortable backrest until the usual line holders and bags are screwed into it. I opted for hanging a couple of line holders from the screws that attach the seahood, one on each side. The lines clip into them and hang down into the companionway while underway, and I can also flip them up on top of the hatch if I want to close it. You could add more screws and washers if you want more hangers, but I haven't needed them. I usually hang the spinnaker and jib halyards from the dodger frame. Leave a few feet of jib halyard loose so you can use the winch to tension the halyard. At the dock I just loop the lines around the winches.

  Subject: [C320-list] Line management

I have been attempting to manage the 8 lines that lead to the cockpit
(halyards, mainsheet, etc) using Stik-Umm Tie Downs - these consist of a
large suction cup with an attached loop of shock cord. They are intended
for holding a cover on small boats. I have used 4 on each side and they
work well, for a short time. Then the suction cup loses its grip and line
  management fails.

I am looking for an alternative that does not require drilling holes. I
just know there are lots of good ideas out there. Let 'em rip!
