One way to make things a little easier to quickly look through the related
messages is having all C320 messages sent to a separate folder in your email
program. That way they are all together and listed by some parameter as you
choose (date received, subject, from for example). When the strings get
long, I list all messages by subject and then quickly zip throug them to
find the hidden gem.

On Outlook or Outlook Express you set up message rules to segregate email
and send it to specific folders you choose.

Subject: [C320-list] Archives and Long Message Strings

1. If you want to find old message strings about 'packing glands' where
do you go?

2. Let's say a daily email received has eight messages strings about the
same topic. Each message string usually has duplicate messages in the
other strings but also has one new reply. How can you tell the latest
message string about a particular subject, and with that latest one have
all of the replies that are in the other seven?
