[C320-list] Ships cat

Our cat has been coming with us for 10 years, from the time he was a kitten.
He sleeps most of the day, either in the v-berth or aft cabin. He comes out
when he wants something, like food or to use the litter box. We keep the
litter in a tupperware closable container. He comes up and sniffs around, we
open the box and he uses it then goes down below. We scoop and all is done
with no need to row ashore twice a day like for a dog.

At night the topsides are his, he patrols the deck and stares into night
comfortable that there is nothing to threaten him. When we go dock side,
rather than anchor out, we need to close the boat up at night or when we
leave it .He will wander on the dock and could easily slip onto somebody
else's boat, not good particularly if they happen to cast off early without
knowing he's curled up on board somewhere.

He's been good to have onboard, particularly when our kids were younger, to
keep them company.
