Let me explain the concept a little better....



The toolbox would contain several tools unique to the C320 and a few others that are seldom used (ie. things that you might not buy individually for a one-time repair or adjustment).

The whole toolbox does not ship each time you would need something!!! That indeed would be cost prohibitive from a postage standpoint. Instead, you notify the "keeper" of what you need and pay 2-way postage on that/those item(s) only. That way, many members can be served at once. You can keep the tool as long as you need (within reason) or until someone else wants to use it.



Again, the possible contents MIGHT be (based upon my initial note and some responses):



Non-contact thermometer (IR heat gun)

Sockets for adjusting keel bolts (1.5" ??? very deep dish)

Torque wrench

Cutlass bearing remover

Optical Tachometer

Loos gauge (actually we need 2 to tune)

Prop puller(s)

VSWR meeter, 50 ohm dummy load and assorted cables

Osciliscope

Mast self climber (though this may be a libility and safety issue)

Variouus sized tubing benders

Assorted deep hole saws/drills

Fiberglass moisture meter
