I did some investigation into this awhile ago, but never wound up purchasing any LED bulbs. I believe the fixtures you are refering to take a MR16 bulb (with a built-in reflector). I found some LEDs at

They offer a bulb containing 12 LEDs for $8 (MR16-W12) and one containing 24 LEDs for $15 (MR16-W24). Not sure how the brightness compares to the 10w halogen bulb currently used.

I too would like to hear from anyone who has made this conversion and where they sourced the parts.
