[C320-list] V Berth Storage

A rainy weekend in Coronado.
The pole used for the V Berth hangers was a 1 1/2" pole that is used in
closets and available at home depot etc. The end pieces were made of teak,
but the ones in the hardware store for closets would work fine. I do not
recall the length but it is a bit over 6'. I placed it as high as possible
on the stbd side of the V berth.
My 1st Mate found the cloth hanging bags on sale at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
We cut off the lower 3 sacks since they were too long.
www.welcome-Aboard.com has clothing and shoe bags that would also do the
trick for $19.95. 1-800-295-2469. Item #C30, C#31.
The nice thing about using this solution for more storage is that you can
remove the pole at any time if you need the bunk for friends and the V berth
look neat and shipshape with no Irish pendants.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,

Subject: [C320-list] v-berth shoe organizers
Hi everybody. Someone at the 320 regatta in San Diego had hanging shoe
organizers in their v-berth. Would it be possible for you to send a photo
of it?
How did you hang it? I remember it being on the starboard side, but can't
remember what you used to hang it. I remember there being a 1" dowel, but
can't picture what held that.
Thanks
