That's helpful Karl.  Thanks.  From your pictures it looks like anything 
larger would be at bit overwhelming on the stern.  Why do you remove the 
outboard before lifting the dinghy?  I thought one advantage of davits 
is that this isn't necessary.  Is it a weight issue?  Your RIB is 
probably twice as heavy as the dinghies I've been looking at.  How do 
you move the motor to/from the dinghy?  The 4 strokes I've been looking 
at all seem too heavy for me to safely move from the rail without some 
mechanical advantage.
