[C320-list] List protocol (Caution! Non-specific C320 info.)

Perhaps it is time for me to depart this great group. When I start hearing about efficient list information and stuff that ruins an otherwise wonderfull email service I conjur images of 'you vil do it my way, und you vil like it'.

I vote for Cy for Commodore.

Friendship among 320 owners is great and I
love to share sailing experiences with friends, but if that stuff has no
value to the rest of us about Catalina, operation and maintenance of a C320,
design snafus and crusing sites it would be nice if the good group of folks
on this site sent stuff via instant
messaging or direct e-mail.

Maybe we could have site rule that any personal chat would have a
new Subject line like "Personal and Confidential For Recipients Eyes Only"
and the rest of us would know to stay clear of looking at it.  Maybe some of
us would not.

I just created another dump folder for C320 kidding around stuff.

I have a treasure trove of valuable C320 information from this site and give
it an overall excellant rating.  We all can help make it a more efficient
site to extract needed information.

If this stuff upsets you so much that you have to calm down you have other
issues. I noticed you didn't change the subject line either. This list has
been around for a long time, and will continue to be around. It provides not
only valuable information about the 320, but also about the 320 sailing
community. Many friendships have been formed here.

Perhaps a simple reminder to change the subject line would have been
sufficient ; )

This is the kind of stuff that ruins this otherwise wonderful e-mail
service.  I wish the people that like to use this system for they're own
kidding around would just stop.  Let's keep this list to what it was
intended: to help and inform all of us who were smart enough to buy a C320.
