[C320-list] Dinghies anyone?

Jeff,
It is noisier and mostly noticeable at full throttle. We seldom go full
throttle so the noise has not been a problem for us. I really love the fact
that it is so simple and so light. I love how easy it is to lift off the
dinghy, even when the boat is pitching. It does get out 8'6" dink up on
plane if I have no equipment with me and shift my load forward.
We mainly use ours for lazy day tours of our harbor and getting the dog
ashore several times a day when on a mooring or on the hook. If you are
doing serious cruising and often have to go many miles from boat to
dock/grocery store etc I would recommend you go with a much larger unit.
Hope you guys get into the water soon!

I'm waiting for Bruce's opinion, but I think the weight issue will override
the noise issue. I had rotator cuff surgery this winter and I don't think
I'll be happy lifting a 40 pound motor up to the stern rail.

As always, thanks for the advice.

Jeff
