Do you have any pictures by chance?  Also is the custom part attached at all
three points with hoses?

There was a discussion about this last fall.  The conclusion was that  
Catalina used both a custom part and the standard Yanmar setup - what  
you got was luck of the draw.

I pulled my custom elbow last year and inspected it (7 years/400  
hours).  All looked fine so I just cleaned it up and reinstalled.
